The EU Sanctions Helpdesk is a key component of the European Union’s efforts to support European operators, particularly Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), in complying with EU sanctions worldwide.
The Helpdesk provides informative resources, country-specific guidance, and organises events and trainings tailored to SMEs. It also offers free, personalised support to businesses that are unable to conduct due diligence independently, assisting them with counterparty and transaction assessments.
Established in 2025, the Helpdesk is implemented on behalf of the European Commission by a consortium led by AARC Ltd, as part of the project Support to EU SMEs on EU Sanctions Due Diligence (NDICI FPN FPI 2023 / 449-650). The initiative is funded by the Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI) and managed under the auspices of the Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA).
DevComm’s Managing Director, Mr Dimitrios Chaidas, serves as Senior Key Expert on Communication, leading the communications strategy, content production, and the development and maintenance of the EU Sanctions Helpdesk website.
