The 2025 Enterprise Europe Network Annual Conference, “Driving innovation, decarbonisation and security for SMEs: a stronger Network in action,” brought Network members and partners together in Aalborg, Denmark, for three days of collaboration, learning, and exchange.
Bringing together nearly 700 participants from 57 countries from 26 to 28 November 2025, the conference — hosted by EISMEA and DG GROW with support from the North Denmark EU-Office — marked a new milestone for Europe’s largest business support ecosystem. The programme featured strategic debates, practical workshops, and dynamic networking sessions designed to help SMEs drive innovation, expand across borders, and respond to a rapidly evolving global landscape.
Our Managing Director, Dimitrios Chaidas, represented the EU Sanctions Helpdesk in his capacity as Key Expert on Communication. The Helpdesk team welcomed EEN members at its dedicated stand and explored local and regional partnerships across the EU aimed at reaching SMEs that could benefit from the Helpdesk’s free compliance support services. According to Dimitrios:
“Engaging directly with partner business support organisations from across Europe is essential to ensuring SMEs have the guidance they need to navigate today’s complex regulatory environment. This conference provided exactly the kind of dialogue and collaboration that strengthens our shared mission.”
