DevComm participated in the 2nd Meeting of the Enterprise Europe Network Hellas consortium, held in Heraklion on 7–8 May 2026.
Representing the EU Sanctions Helpdesk, DevComm's Managing Director Dimitris Chaidas delivered a presentation on EU sanctions compliance and the growing need for practical support services for SMEs operating internationally.
The event brought together 34 participants representing EU institutions, chambers of commerce, research and innovation organisations, and SME support structures from across Greece and the European Union, including representatives from European Commission Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs and European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency.
“SMEs increasingly need practical and accessible support to navigate sanctions-related risks and international business challenges. Events such as the EEN Hellas meeting are important opportunities to strengthen collaboration and bring support services closer to businesses across Europe.” — Dimitris Chaidas
The meeting also provided opportunities to explore future collaborations with thematic and sectoral groups of the Enterprise Europe Network, particularly in the areas of agrifood, SME internationalisation and business support outreach.
